We invite everyone to contribute to a dignified, abundant, and friendly Christmas table. Together with the visitors of the Residence, we will remind ourselves that we can make a contribution to the best wonder in the forest – the “Food Bank”! We will create the best Christmas cookie and cake recipes for those who lack them at the moment. Together with TV host, social media creator, and activist Dovilė Filmanavičiūtė, we will remind each other that giving is good.

The third week at the Residence brings a real challenge! Tomas Dirgėla, Lithuania’s most popular children’s author, who has already written books in unexpected locations, takes on another writing challenge. For the entire third week, he will write his latest book at Snow Arena while children watch. Simultaneously, this week will focus on all dreamers! Together with the organization “Safe Start,” we will invite everyone to notice their own and surrounding Christmas dreams of children. This year, all visitors to “What a Residence” can contribute to fulfilling these dreams.

FOURTH RESIDENCY WEEK (December 23 – December 29)
“CLEAN AND SUSTAINABLE CHRISTMAS!”
The fourth week of December will be spent together with the organization “Future of Nature.” Paradoxically, the most joyous and festive winter period often brings the most sorrow to our environment. During the holiday week, we generate the highest amount of waste from unwrapping gifts, Christmas decorations, and cleaning up festive tables. If we do not dispose of this waste responsibly, we cause significant harm to our surroundings.
Elves will engage the youngest Residency visitors in eco-friendly educational activities and workshops. The “Clean and Sustainable Christmas” week will culminate with a special story by Santa Claus and his faithful Elves, sharing the lessons they learned during the summer about sorting waste. These valuable lessons are not just for the magical forest but for everyone who wishes to preserve the environment.
